Tools that address Energy Poverty in Europe

There are various tools available regarding energy poverty. They are developed by EU-funded projects, other EU initiatives and organisations to provide policymakers, researchers, stakeholders and EU citizens with valuable information on energy poverty in different contexts.

National indicators​

An interactive database of the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub that enables visitors to navigate through the different energy poverty national indicators available for EU countries.

Using the new features, visitors can compare data by years and by countries, or obtain all the data available for a single country.

The EPAH ATLAS

The EPAH ATLAS is an online interactive database that allows visitors to discover local and international projects as well as measures addressing energy poverty across the world. Visitors can explore the interactive map, view a list of all projects and read more information about any case. A list of quick and advanced filters allows visitors to browse through the cases in an easy and effective way.

The EPAH ATLAS
HoTMAPS

A heating and cooling mapping and planning toolbox, with developed, demonstrated and validated in 7 European pilot areas. It provides data for EU28 at national and local levels. Used to develop heating and cooling strategies. The tool and all related modules run without requiring any other commercial tool or software. Use of and access to Source Code is subject to Open Source License. HoTMAPS is a Horizon Europe project.
