REVERTER final conference: Recap and recorded presentations

REVERTER final conference took place on October 16, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium. 

The final conference of the REVERTER project took place under the inspiring title “The Renovation Revolution: Affordable, Sustainable and Inclusive Energy Transitions.”

Organised together with RENOVERTY – who led the event – and our sister projects Energy Poverty-0 (EP-0) and Giga Regio Factory, the conference brought together experts, policymakers, and innovators committed to shaping a fair and sustainable energy future for Europe.

Throughout the sessions, participants explored transformative approaches to some of Europe’s most pressing challenges in energy efficiency, building renovation, and energy poverty alleviation.

Highlights included:

  • REVERTER’s insights on supporting energy-poor households through One-Stop-Shops (OSS) and subsidy schemes that lower renovation barriers.
  • RENOVERTY’s innovative tools addressing the urban-rural divide in energy renovation, including roadmaps and neighbourhood energy compass tools.
  • EP-0’s advancements in retrofit industrialisation and collective purchase schemes.
  • Giga Regio Factory’s pioneering work in scaling retrofit processes and components for greater impact.

The event served as a powerful conclusion to the REVERTER project, celebrating collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision of making the green transition affordable, inclusive, and achievable for all.
