The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek), taking place in Brussels from 13–15 October 2025, is the European Union’s largest annual event dedicated to Cohesion Policy. Since 2003, it has brought together politicians, policymakers, local and regional authorities, researchers, and citizens to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and shape the future of Europe’s regions and cities.
As part of this vibrant week of dialogue and innovation, a special final conference will be held on 16 October 2025 in Brussels:
The renovation revolution: affordable, sustainable and inclusive energy transitions
This event will mark the culminating conference of the REVERTER project, we are joining RENOVERTY who leans the event and two sister projects Energy Poverty-0 (EP-0) and Giga Regio Factory. Together, these projects have developed transformative solutions to some of Europe’s most pressing challenges in energy efficiency, building renovation, and energy poverty alleviation.
The session will provide a platform to:
- Showcase REVERTER’s insights on supporting energy-poor households through One-Stop-Shops (OSS) and subsidy schemes that remove barriers to renovation.
- Highlight RENOVERTY’s work on tackling the urban-rural divide in energy renovation, including roadmaps and neighbourhood energy compass tools.
- Explore EP-0’s contributions in advancing retrofit industrialisation and collective purchase schemes.
- Present Giga Regio Factory’s innovations in scaling retrofit processes and components for greater impact.
The conference will start already on 15 of October, 2025. More info about the conference.
