On March 11, 2025, an informative event organised by REVERTER consortium partner REA took place in Riga. During the event, residents of Riga had the opportunity to learn more about the renovation process of apartment buildings and the benefits of improving energy efficiency.
As part of the event, participants were given a tour of a recently renovated residential building. A building renovation project manager provided a detailed explanation of the renovation work carried out and showcased the shared spaces. The results of the renovation were presented, with a focus on key benefits such as reduced heating costs, improved living conditions, a more aesthetically pleasing environment and increased value of their property.
To offer an authentic perspective on the impact of the renovation, attendees had the chance to engage directly with the building’s residents. They shared their experiences, impressions, and overall satisfaction with the achieved results. The REA experts offered consultations regarding options for building renovation support and other related issues.
A total of 35 participants attended the event, all of whom were positive and eager to learn more about apartment building renovations. Initiatives like this help raise public awareness about energy efficiency and encourage residents to consider renovation options for their homes.
