In July, a unique event was held to spotlight the critical issue of energy poverty, focusing on the next generation’s role in creating a sustainable future. During the CMC “School Holidays” program, primary school children and their trainers welcomed representatives from the LIFE-REVERTER project. Together, they engaged in interactive sessions, discussing practical ways to save energy at home. With around 40 children and 6 trainers participating, the event highlighted how small actions can lead to significant changes.
Children play a crucial role in knowledge transfer and driving behavioral change, both now and as future adults. This event emphasized the importance of understanding their current energy-saving habits and inspiring them with new strategies to make an even bigger impact. Through dynamic conversations and hands-on activities, the young participants discovered not only what they are already doing but also how much more they can achieve to combat energy poverty.
