The training for energy ambassadors of the “Riga Energy Efficiency Information Center” and “Riga Energy Agency,” held as part of the REVERTER project at the beginning of 2024, has garnered positive feedback and satisfaction from participants.
Twenty-one individuals participated in the training sessions, which spanned 11 hours across two Saturdays. Organizers were pleased with the enthusiastic and motivated engagement displayed by the participants, noting initiatives such as the creation of a WhatsApp group for ongoing communication and collaboration among energy ambassadors.
Special interest was shown in the psychology component of the training, suggesting its importance and potential for further inclusion in the program. Participants highlighted the value of the training not only for acquiring new information but also for networking opportunities and engaging in discussions.
Feedback from energy ambassadors reflects a high level of satisfaction and appreciation for the educational content and the expertise of the instructors. Inese Ozere commended the thoroughness of the lectures and the opportunity for meaningful discussions among participants. Beatrise Berkolte emphasized the practical utility of the training in building management processes and fostering collaboration with neighbors. Vita Preimane found particular value in communication strategies and group activities, which facilitated knowledge sharing and camaraderie among attendees. Nora Grigane-Grīsle praised the comprehensive nature of the training, from informative lectures to practical exercises, and advocated for its continuation to promote energy-efficient practices among citizens.
